I finally managed to get most of my Valentine's Day decorations down. And after the heart garland and paper chain came down, I noticed an absence of color. Of character. Of personality. Of the feeling that my little one's innocence was displayed so nicely in the homemade crafts gobbed with glitter and glue. So we fixed it. We made another variety in the collection of hand print decorations. We made butterflies.
These little beauties are only the beginning of Spring in our little apartment. There is more to come.
And outside my window, Spring is really making its presence known. Flowers are popping up from the tiniest of buds. Petals lift up and float off from trees, swifting through the early Spring air, landing like confetti on the damp ground.
Don't forget tomorrow is Loving Where You Live Thursday.
