Little Things - Chocolate Faced

Lola is an excellent eater. She likes most veggies, her most recent discovery being radishes. She loves her fruits as well. But my little chicken seems to have inherited her mother's sweet tooth, never bypassing a cookie or sinfully sweet snack if offered. Sad, I know. With temperatures pushing ninety degrees last week, I froze some chocolate pudding into little tot-sized popsicle for her. I wanted to avoid the chocolate Picasso that would end eventually end up on her face from self-feeding, so I thought freezing was a good idea. I was wrong. She took her time with each lick, really enjoying and making the moment last.
After seeing her face and the masterpiece she had created, I got to thinking. This is what Summer is about. Last minute trips to the park, lots of ice cream, getting really messy. I think we'll have plenty more evenings like this.
